Family Photos (Are AWESOME)

Hey Everyone!

About a week ago I got the chance to take some family photos for a family that I love and respect a lot. You've already met one member of this amazing family. In fact, you've met her a few times.

AND NOW YOU GET TO MEET THE REST OF HER AWESOME FAMILY!

Ladies and gentlemen..... I'm proud to present........ The Johnson Family:

These guys had more fun at their photo shoot than I did, I think. Which is saying something.

See? I wasn't kidding.

Part of the reason we took these pictures was because the youngest one in this incredible family is heading out on his LDS Mission!

So I got to take some cute photos of the soon to be Elder Johnson with his whole family!

The end of summer/back to school season is the PERFECT time to get family photos taken. I offer family photos for as little as $75! Email me or contact me through my blog to book a shoot.

Jack-Attack part 2 (MY BEST FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED!!)

Hey Everyone!

    GUESS WHAT??

My best friend is getting married!

Look at how pretty she and Mike (a.k.a. The Fiance) are!

I was privileged enough to take their engagement photos at this amazing place called Discovery Park, and we had SO. MUCH. FUN. And we got some gorgeous pictures too, of course!

I have to tell you all that I have be lucky enough to have Miss Jackie as my best friend for...Uumm.... Six (?) years now and I've got to say that when I heard about this "Mike" I was a little wary. After all, I take my best friend duties very seriously and I had never even heard of Mike before.

But as I've spent more and more time with him, and with them together I realized just how perfect they are for each other.

Bottom line: Michael is good people. And I approve.

Now, as Maid of Honor....... ON TO THE BACHELORETTE PARTY!

Are you getting married? I offer wedding packages for as low as $250! Contact me for more details, or to book a shoot.

3 Dotters Vintage Markets (the coolest thing I've seen for awhile)

Hello Everyone!

This last weekend a wonderful person/mentor/vintage lover/amazing person/Jennifer had this absolutely GORGEOUS vintage market at the Old Pleasant Grove Recreation Center, and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph a few of the amazing vintage pieces that all of the vendors brought to sell.

Long story short I took almost 600 photos.

Oops. (the best kind of oops!)

Now, when photographing an event (especially one as cool as this one!) you have to remember three things:

   1. Photographing from lots of different angles = some amazingly cool pictures.

  2. You never know what you'll find at a vintage market, so take pictures of EVERYTHING:

This is a necklace made from vintage light bulbs. SO. COOL.
Who wouldn't want a mailbox full of lavender?

I'm not sure what this is..... But it's vintage so it must be cool!
3. Lots of people love all things vintage!

Luckily I had the presence of mind to pick up a few of my own gorgeous vintage finds in between pictures, because if I had waited until after then they would have been gone!

To all those that were vendors at the market, your pictures are coming soon. Please enjoy these few while I look through and edit the other 575!

Everyone else, ENJOY!

Do you have an upcoming event? A party, birthday, celebration, or anything that you would like to have photos of? I'd love to help you out with that! $40 event shoots are now available! Email, text, call, or send smoke signals to schedule a shoot.

P.S. A huge thank you to Jackie Johnson, who got up at 6am to carry my stuff for me while I hopped, climbed, and crouched my way through 600 photos.
