Kids, kids, and more kids!

Hello Everyone!

This last week I took photos of my Aunt and Uncle's grandchildren. My cousin's children. My second cousins? I think?

Honestly, I'm not exactly sure what these cuties official familial title between us is. So I gave them my own.

   Ready?

  Cutest Cousins (probably second cousins)
IN THE WORLD!!
(Kinda rolls off the tongue, right?)

Anyway, this shoot was amazing for several reasons, one of which is just these kids innate cuteness.

SEE??!!!??!!
Also, they were all under the age of 5. Which means that we had a BUNCH of emoting going on throughout the whole process.

We had laughter/smiles:

Some crazy faces:

   A few tears:

And a lot of general cuteness:

Capturing the innocent and hilarious moments that children have on a daily basis is one of my favorite things to do as a photographer. Contact me to book a children's shoot before they grow up!

Photo Challenge DAy 8

Hey Everyone!

Today's photo challenge comes courtesy of a good friend/mentor of mine. (She's the one who puts together the 3 Dotters Vintage Market in Utah County, and also participates in a ton of other vintage markets around Utah Valley. She's also responsible for getting me hooked/obsessed with all things vintage.

Her daughters are amazingly beautiful and I was lucky enough to shoot a few new head shots. (Because on top of being beautiful, their entire family is also super talented! Seriously. This family is amazing.)

  Enjoy!

Ok, ok, so I know I'm breaking my rules here by posting four photos instead of one, and because some of these photos have been Photoshopped a bit, but I want everyone to know that I only tweaked the lighting, and put some filters on the photos. Which means that the beautiful skin, eyes, and everything else are all natural!

Are you a BYU student? Do you need new headshots? I offer $25 head shot photo shoots to BYU students!  Email, call, text, or use my Contact Me page to schedule your shoot!

Rain is AWESOME (especially to a two year old)

Hey Everyone!

Today I'm going to do an entire post and have it count as my photo challenge because I can't pick just one.

IT'S JUST TOO HARD! TOO HARD TO CHOOSE!

So I'm going to cheat a bit and choose not to choose. Ha-HA!

  Anyway.......

  Today it rained.

  A lot.

  Graham loved it.

  A LOT. (Please see below)

While splashing at the playground today we learned some very important things:

Pants that stay up when they're dry, will fall off when they're wet.

Worms do not like the water.

So we'll pick the worm up and take him somewhere dry.

And then we'll get bored watching the worm in a dry place and dunk him in a puddle. Repeatedly.

We learned about balance and coordination

Or lack thereof....

And finally, we learned that stomping in puddles is great!

But jumping off of something INTO a puddle is even BETTER!

Also, you get soaking wet in the rain:

Family Pictures

I love family pictures! Watching people grow and change through photographs is one of my favorite things as a photographer.

I'm currently working on editing photos from a family shoot I did just a few days ago, and I wanted to share some other family photos I've done recently with you all.

The Autumn is the PERFECT time for family photo shoots! Pretty colors, cooler temperatures, there are no down sides. Email me at lindsineilson@gmail.com to book a shoot, or send me a message through my "Contact Me" page.

Enjoy!
